The Main Event  3rd - 5th May
The main event includes day-time lectures and classroom based workshops open to all levels and non paddling partners. They will take place in the main building at Anglesey Outdoors on Porth Dafach Road.  The water based sessions are aimed at intermediate plus paddlers who have paddled on the sea before but not necessarily in tidal waters. Experienced river paddlers and open boaters would also find the main event beneficial to them. There will be a briefing at 9am each morning in the Marquee to notify participants of the days activities and weather.

The après paddle entertainment i.e., bars and live music also take place here. The Paddler’s Return, located within the centre grounds will be open all weekend and sells 'pub grub' for those that want it.  Sunday night, be sure to drop into the main centre for live music and a boogy!  A 'bottle bar' will be available on Sunday only in the Centrre's dining room.  Click

Tidal Races and Overfalls Weekend 10th - 11th May
If you haven't had enough of the races already or you need some more tuition/confidence building, this is the course for you.  2 more days in the wave machines of Penrhyn Mawr and North Stack.  We have found that the symposium tidal race and overfall classes are more of an experience than training course due to the large numbers of people wishing to partake in them.  During the symposium weekend our focus with such large numbers is invariable safety.  So to do our coaches justice in their ability to coach you well in the overfalls, we now provide an extra 2 days for folk to receive much more individualised training that focuses on taking you from where you are now to where you want to be as a rough water paddler.
